Personal Information - Resides in Kenmore, Mother of 3 - Phil 17, Nick 13 and Mara 10. Spending time with my children and all of their activities keeps me quite busy when I am not working. Spending time with family and friends, reading a good book are a few of my favorite things to do. I prefer summer days and dread the long, cold winter months.

I have worked for Kaleida Health since 1985 as an RN. I spent most of that time at the bedside of patients in a critical care setting. I also spent a few years as a Nursing Supervisor and a Nurse Manager. Realizing that management was not the career that I wanted, I returned back to a staff nurse position and actively participated in the efforts to organize the Millard  Fillmore RN bargaining unit. This is where my Labor career started and I have absolutely no regrets. I love what I do every single day. Fighting for workers rights, fair wages and benefits, safe and good working conditions and helping our members to deliver safe, quality patient care is a wonderful job. I may not be directly at the bedside caring for patients but what I do on a daily basis does impact our patients.

2009 New Years resolutions:: Too many to list.
