WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In 2021, CWA helped write and pass a new law that requires staffing committees in each hospital to negotiate staffing plans that provide minimum staffing levels in each patient care unit, on each shift. Since then, CWA members have worked hard to implement and enforce this law.But we know the work isn’t over and we want to hear from you so we can better fight for safe staffing.
We have launched a survey which will allow us to understand how many of our members know about the staffing law, know what CWA is doing to fight for safe staffing, and allow us to collect feedback. You can check out the full survey at this link (https://cwasafestaffing.org/2023staffingsurvey)
The survey is very brief and will only take 1-2 minutes to complete, but the insight we can obtain is very valuable. Ultimately, we hope to use this information to shape the program going forward, address problem areas, and continue to engage our members on this issue. The survey will close on November 21, 2023.
