A reminder that the PTO plan year is coming to an end; and the last day to use your PTO for 2023 is Saturday, December 16th. A new PTO plan year will take effect Sunday December 17th. With the PTO year closing it allows you several options of what you choose to do with your excess accrued time. To utilize any of these options you must declare it via an HR form no later than December 16th 2023.
If you have a PTO balance in excess of the required carryover amount you may choose to roll over varying amounts of time to the following year depending on your employment status, elect to receive a cash value buy out for the PTO, convert it to cash value for deposit in your 403(b), or transfer unused time into your ESB. For complete details on options available please reference Article 26, Section 27 Items a,b,c. of the collective bargaining agreement.
- Forms to opt in to these options are available on Kaleidoscope under the Human Resources tab : HR Forms – “Year End PTO Carry Over Forms”, then choose the Master Employee option and select which option you choose to utilize for your PTO.
Effective December 17th 2023 “EPTO / PL“ days will be reset. These days follow the PTO year calendar which is different than PTU which will reset June 1st 2024.
